The MKS Instruments 655 Controller can be operated by its easy-to-use front panel, or remotely via analog I/O, TTL, or the RS-232 interface. A front panel key lock switch selects either local or remote control. The 655 provides power for the Baratron®pressure sensor, including most heated models. A remote zero feature on the 655 eliminates the need to zero at the sensor. A two-line LCD display provides readout of pressure from the Baratron in several selectable engineering units, as well as valve position and other setup and operating parameters. The controller can be preset for up to five pressure or position set points.
